Code Enforcment Officer Berthoud, CO
Part Time Wage: $12 per hour (20 hours per week)
The Berthoud Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of part time Code Enforcement Officer.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be Colorado POST Certified
Must be in adequate physical condition to complete essential job functions
Must be at least 21 Years Old
Must be U.S. Citizen
Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Colorado Driver’s License
Must have not committed or been convicted of any Felony offense or serious Misdemeanor offense
Must have a high School Diploma or GED
Must have honorable Military Discharge (if Applicable)
Must have minimum corrected visual acuity of 20/30 binocularly
Must pass extensive background investigation
Must pass a pre-employment Physical Examination and Psychological Evaluation
Current illegal drug use will disqualify applicant (History of Certain Drug usage may disqualify).
The Berthoud Police Department is a progressive Police Department responsible for Community Oriented Law Enforcement services for a growing town of approximately 5000 citizens. The Town of Berthoud is located on the front range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, in Larimer and Weld Counties near Loveland, Colorado. This growing department currently employs 7 full time Patrol Officers, 1 Code Enforcement Officer, 1 Patrol Sergeant, the Chief of Police and 1 Dispatcher/Records/Support Staff Person. The Code Enforcement Officer of the department is responsible for enforcement of Municipal Ordinances, Community Service Assignments and other duties as assigned by the Chief of Police.
