The BHS boosters are asking for support from businesses and individuals.

Currently the Spartan Band is under-funded and unable to purchase band equipment or uniforms for students. Funding has largely been left to parent boosters who have had to raise money to pay for band trips (such as the recent trip to state competition), marching drills and music for these kids.

New uniform jackets are desperately needed as the band is currently using waiter jackets that have been criticized during competitions. At least 60 new jackets will need to be ordered for the next school year at a cost of almost $7,000. Most of the families will not be able to cover the cost of this purchase, which will be around $150 per student.

New instruments are needed to replace old and non-repairable equipment such as drums and tubas. It would be great e to have extra equipment made available to those students who cannot afford to purchase the instrument they wish to play. Projected cost is $3,000.

Gold Sponsor: $1,000

Silver Sponsor: $500

Bronze Sponsor: $250

Maroon Sponsor: $150

All sponsors will receive a BHS Band Booster certificate to display in their place of business or home, a thank you letter and sponsorship listing in all band performances. Sponsorship is for the academic year from August to May, but donations may be made at any time during the year.
