Mrs. Ashlyn Bishop has been selected to represent Berthoud in the 2009 Mrs. Colorado state competition to be held May 16 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver.

Bishop received her official Mrs. Berthoud sash by mail. The state competition is based on beauty, fitness and according to contest organizers, “their opinions on marriage, community and important issues of the day.”

Bishop said, “I’m really excited and can’t wait to compete.”
