On Dec. 19, the McCarty-Fickel Home will be hosting An Old-Fashioned Berthoud Christmas at 6 p.m. Families are invited to join costumed volunteers for an evening of hands-on Christmas activities from the era of the home. 

Included will be an old-fashioned Christmas sing-a-long, cookie decorating, vintage Christmas ornament making, and other activities and customs from the early 1900′s.  At 7:30 p.m., refreshments will be served around the Christmas tree during a reading of “‘Twas the Night Before Chirsitmas.” Cost for the evening is $10 per family.  This event is by reservation only, so please call (970) 532-1916 to include your family in this special, one-of-a-kind Christmas celebration.
