Spartans Pull Off Second Overtime Victory

By Taylor Lee Berthoud Recorder FREDERICK -- The Berthoud boys’ basketball team pulled through with another win in overtime, this time against the Frederick Warriors on Tuesday night. The Spartans scored on six of 10 field-goal attempts in the four-minute overtime for a 60-56 victory. Joel Maly led the Spartans with 18 points. Jeff Shields followed with 16 points, Ryan Barron added 12 and junior Graham Shaw, back in action after missing the last three games with a knee injury, scored nine. ... Full Story
