Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 BFPD responded to E. Sixth Street to assist Loveland Fire with a commercial fire. BFPD responded to a request for medical assistance with TVEMS. Monday, Dec. 1 The Berthoud Parks and Recreation Department reported someone tried to break into the soft drink machines at the facility and the intruders also damaged the fence. Aspen Leaf Kitchens reported someone stole the motor from their dust collector. At 1:15 p.m. a Loveland driver ran into a delivery truck at the NAPA Auto Parts store. Fire Beat: Dec. 4, 2008

Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 BFPD responded to Ninth Stree for a carbon monoxide incident. The carbon monoxide detector was sounding and the monitor did report a small amount of CO in the air. It was recommended to the resident owner to have their furnace checked the same day. The fire crew followed up later in the day.  BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Sunnywood Place. Monday, Nov.  24 A Mitsubishi Eclipse was damaged overnight while parked on Redwood Circle. Someone had placed paint all over the car. In another case of criminal mischief, a window was broken out of heavy equipment on the construction site at Sixth St. and Mountain Avenue. A vehicle driving in circles at the high school drew the attention of a passing officer. It turned out to be a mother teaching her daughter how to drive a stick shift.
