Sports Briefs: Youth Basketball Camp Dates Set

Youth basketball camp set for Jan. 6 - 8 Berthoud Recreation will be hosting a basketball camp, specializing in ball handling, Jan. 6 through 8 at Berthoud Elementary School. The camp, which will run from 4 to 6 p.m. daily, is open to ages 8 through 12. Cost for the camp is $75. Space is limited. Haddon has Career Victory over Laredo

By Michael Hicks Berthoud Recorder LOVELAND -- Steve Haddon had never scored more than one goal in a game much less two or more. But Friday night against the Laredo Bucks, he scored twice in the first period of the Eagles’ 6-4 victory. Both goals, scored just over four minutes apart midway through the first 20 minutes of the game, were assisted by Konrad Reeder. Aaron Schneekloth assisted on the first goal.
