By Scott Crossen The Berthoud Recorder Our lives seem like memoirs we continuously write, and each year another chapter closes, each a collection of experiences and teachings that bring more lessons and greater knowledge. Those answers may help determine the most favorable path to follow in the coming year, and how we can make 2009 the best year yet. We can begin with one ... Full Story

But now 2009 is upon us and in each year, the world of sports typically brings us some of the most amazing feats, year in and year out. This ... Full Story

Once in a Blue Moon

As project manager for the International Year of Astronomy, she will undoubtedly be busy coordinating the almost entirely ... Full Story

Stop smoking? Start working out? Lay off the pie? Eliminating unhealthy habits is always a good idea, but the idea of New Year’s resolutions is not necessarily best. Self-improvement is a constant process, and a new year is a good time to think about fresh starts and new beginnings. Unfortunately, ... Full Story
