CCA Members Recruiting for the Cure

ARVADA -- The Colorado Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) is partnering with eight affiliated businesses to increase membership and give back to the Colorado community by donating $80 to breast cancer research for each new member recruited through the month of January. (more…)

Join LCDP for Presidential Inauguration

All are invited to the Fort Collins Inauguration Ball! The Larimer County Democratic Party is partnering with two women, Bridgette Johnson and LaKendrea Moore of the Conversations Book Club, who are representatives of the growing African-American community in Larimer County. They have done the major groundwork for a classy gala at the new Drake Centre event facility. Donnelly, Johnson Take Oaths of Office

Winds Stir up County Road Blaze

Firefighters knock down burning embers at a residence at the west end of Larimer County Road 2. The call, which came in shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday, originally came in as a structure fire when a motorist on Boulder County 82 saw flames to the west. (more…)

Valentine's Day Card Features Lake Loveland,

By Sandy Barnes Berthoud Recorder Living near Loveland takes on a special meaning as Valentine’s Day approaches. A tradition that began 63 years ago, more than 200,000 cards are sent each year from the Loveland address through a program coordinated by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s Valentine Re-Mailing program includes uniquely designed cards and a stamp used on envelopes. MCR's Two Critical Care Units Honored with

The nation’s foremost organization for critical care nursing has announced that the two intensive care units at the Medical Center of the Rockies have each received a prestigious award recognizing America’s top hospital units that care for critically ill patients. The American Association of Critical Care Nurses announced that MCR’s cardiac intensive care unit and surgical intensive care unit each received the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence.
