Sports Briefs — Holst Leads Premier Gymnasts at

Bailie Holst of Berthoud took first place in the Level 8 all-around competition at CGI Winterfest 2009 at the University of Denver on Jan. 16-18. The meet was the first of the season for Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies. (more…)

Silver Spoon Film Festival Call for Entries

The Loveland Museum/Gallery is now accepting film entries from northern Colorado residents ages 13-20 for the 10th anniversary of the Silver Spoon Film Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 6 p.m. at the Rialto Theater in downtown Loveland. To enter, films must be under 15 minutes in length and be on DVD. Bridgman Named Citizen of the Year

The Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce has chosen Peter Bridgman as the Citizen of the Year for his creativity and energy in bringing Habitat for Humanity to Berthoud. Mayor Tom Patterson presented the award to Bridgman at the Chamber's annual dinner and gala on Saturday night.
