Berthoud’s tiniest citizens have a new place to go. Berthoud United Methodist Church recently announced the opening of their Learning Lane Preschool opening in the fall of 2009.

According to Eileen Barnes, the newly hired director for the preschool, “the new program will have a secular curriculum but with Christian values.” 

The new preschool program replaces the church’s previous program but “unlike the previous program, this will not be a cooperative preschool. However, we hope parents will volunteer to help in their child’s preschool room.  In fact, we will be offering a $10 discount for each day of volunteer work, up to two days per month”

Parents are encouraged to pickup enrollment applications beginning Thursday, March 5 available at the church office. Details on program specifics and hours are available at the church or by calling (970) 532-2142.
