Sommers Celebrate 50 Years Together

Jack and Beth Sommers will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Sunday, March 15 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Berthoud Senior Center. They invite all their friends to share in this happy occasion.
The couple were married March 22, 1959 in the First Methodist Church in Neponset, Ill.
Jack and Beth moved to Berthoud in June 1965, and are now retired from the Thompson R2-J schools. Jack was a teacher, coach and administrator. Beth was an elementary music teacher.
They have three children, Bill, John and wife Karin and Anne. They also have three grandchildren: Brittany, Alex and Landon.
