After faithfully pursuing the possibilities for a large enough space in Berthoud for our 29th annual Reverse Raffle fundraiser, the committee decided to hold the event on April 27 at the Grace Place Church, 250 Mountain Ave.
The meal will be a prime rib dinner at the same price as in previous years, $60 per couple. The 100 ticket holders will have a chance to win the $1,000 grand price plus a chance at the approximately 50 door prizes. Coffee, tea, water and soft drinks will be available, but due to the location, no alcohol will be served.
This fundraiser makes it possible for the Lions Club to carry on the projects we have always helped with; purchasing eyeglasses for low income families, presenting scholarships, collecting used eyeglasses for other countries, donations and campers at the Handicapped Camp and more.
