The Foothills Audubon Club will meet Monday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at the Berthoud Community Center, 248 Welch Ave.
The program will have a wildlife slide show of local Rocky Mountains wildlife titled: “Rocky Mountain Wildlife — Spring Through Winter, The RMNP Elk Management Plan”
The program follows birds and mammals of Rocky Mountain National Park, from spring’s awakening through the breeding season, into fall and winter. The Elk and Vegetation Management Plan of the Park is also reviewed. Ron Harden has photographed many of the park’s wildlife in the 2008 season, and will suggest locations for good viewing.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
