Wood Sort Yard Opens April 18
Larimer County’s Peak to Peak Wood Sort Yard is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 18 for wood as a result of forest thinning and fire mitigation as well as beetle-kill wood. The Stove Prairie site will be accepting mountain pine beetle infested wood this year. This might be your best opportunity to get rid of large amounts of infested wood. State Legislators to Meet with Public
Rep. B.J. Nikkel and Sen. Kevin Lundberg will hold town hall meetings Saturday, April 18 in the Loveland City Council Chambers at 10 a.m., and at the Estes Park Library at noon. Republican House Whip, Rep. Cory Gardner will also be at the meetings. (more...)

Watch for Lions Loose on the Highway
By Curtis Wilson Lions Club District 6-NE Governor Fourteen members attended the regular Lions Club meeting Thursday, April 2. State News: Health Care Reform Heating Up in Colorado
Lawmakers in Washington, D.C., are expected to tackle health care reform very soon, but Colorado activists are ramping up now, with a host of public events across the state this week that kicked off in Greeley on Saturday.
