Older Worker Job Fair on Wednesday

Emergency Alert Test on Tuesday

The Colorado Emergency Communications Committee and National Weather Service will conduct a statewide test of the Emergency Alert System. This test will be using a “live” event code ("TOR" or “SVR”) in connection with a statewide tornado test planned for Tuesday, April 21 between 8-11 a.m. The test is part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, April 19-25, which has been designated by Gov. State News: Coloradans Share Health Care Stories

As Congress considers health care reforms, Coloradans who are in the middle of the issue will share their stories at an event in Denver on Saturday. Dr. Adam Gilden-Tsai, a physician who sees patients at Denver Health, says he sees too many people ending up hospitalized for conditions that could have been prevented with medications they weren't able to afford.
