Standing on the stone bridge over the waterfall stream at the new Brookside Event Center and Spa, Barb Mitteis, Tanaia Bebo and Kathy Burcham watch as Aaron and Christie Lasko help Larry Bebo cut the ribbon at Saturday’s grand opening.

As part of the festivities, visitors to the Brookside Event Center open house were treated to a performance of dancing dragons and Chinese music as well as more traditional fare from Berthoud guitarist Brandon Sipes.
