Camp Rocky July 5-11
Camp Rocky is an outdoor educational opportunity for youth ages 14 through 19 who are looking for an outdoors adventure. Camp Rocky, sponsored by the Colorado Association of Conservation Districts, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Colorado State Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service and other partners, will be held July 5-11 in a mountain setting at the foot of Pikes Peak near the Crags Campground in Divide, Colorado. State News: Bill Allowing Guns in Parks Heads to Obama
Packing heat may soon be legal in Colorado's national parks. Congress has voted to allow people to carry loaded guns in national parks, monuments and conservation areas, including Rocky Mountain and Mesa Verde National Parks. (more...)
