Berthoud Boy Scout Troop 6 is proud to announce that preparation is under way for the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser during Berthoud Days. One of the special events of the Berthoud Days Celebration is the traditional Pancake Breakfast brought to the community by the Troop 6 Boy Scouts. The breakfast will be at Depot Park (Third Street) on June 6 from 6:30 a.m. to noon.
The breakfast tradition is probably best known for bringing the community together under one roof in the early morning hours. Billed as one of the best deals around, the breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, and choice of drink — all this for $6 for adults and $3.50 for kids 12 and under.
“We continue to offer high adventure programs to our scouts with help and support from the Pancake Breakfast fundraiser,” said Mike Henning, scoutmaster for Troop 6.
The support of businesses like Hays Market, Albertsons, Safeway, King Soopers, and Pete’s Coffee, along with the Lions Club, is greatly appreciated. Last year the breakfast was a great success. The continued community support will ensure this year’s success will be even greater.
