The Larimer County/Peak to Peak Wood collection site at Stove Prairie, 2969 Stove Prairie Road, will close on Saturday, July 11. Larimer County and Peak to Peak will return in the spring of 2010.

The Larimer County/Peak to Peak Wood Sort Yard opened last April to take wood from forest thinning, fire mitigation, and beetle-kill. Larimer County is partnering with four other Front Range counties, the Town of Estes Park, Colorado State Parks, the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS), and the United States Forest Service (USFS) to promote forest health through forest thinning and fire mitigation.
