Nonprofit agencies that seek funding through the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado’s annual competitive grant process are now invited to submit Letters of Inquiry online.

To apply for a grant, an organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that directly serves residents of Berthoud. An agency may submit only one Letter of Inquiry. Letters of Inquiry must be submitted using the online application tool on the Community Foundation Web site. Letters may not be submitted by mail or fax. The deadline to submit a Letter of Inquiry is 4 p.m. on Friday, July 24.

The Berthoud Community Fund Committee will then review all Letters of Inquiry and notify the applicants of the action taken. Grant monies will be distributed in November.

Last year, nine local non-profit agencies received grants averaging $2,000.
