The SGA is an Olympic precursor organization that holds competitions on the state level for all types of sports. Eagles Retain Nelson, Schneekloth, Trade Adams

Berthoud Recorder Staff Veterans Riley Nelson and Aaron Schneekloth will be back with the Colorado Eagles for the 2009-10 Central Hockey League season, the team announced Thursday. Nelson, entering his seventh season with the defending Governors’ Cup and Northern Conference champions, and Schneekloth, in his fourth season with the club, were both named to the All-CHL team this past season. Sports Briefs: BHS Football Raising Funds for Camera

The Berthoud High School football team is selling 20-pound crates of fresh peaches to raise money for the purchase of an end-zone camera. Cost is $45 per each 20-pound crate purchased. When ordering, make out the check to Palisade High School. The peaches will be delivered from Palisade to Berthoud on Aug. 15. Deadline for placing orders is Aug. 11.
