Larimer County presents two public meetings to update citizens on the Working Group recommendations to the existing regulations for horse business facilities. Both meetings will provide the same information. 

• Thursday, Sept. 10, 6 p.m. at The Ranch, Thomas M. McKee Building, Loveland, Crossroads Blvd. and I-25. 
• Tuesday, Sept. 15, 6 p.m. at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, Hearing Room, 1st Floor, 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins.

The citizens Working Group has developed recommended changes to the existing regulations for horse business facilities as specified in the Larimer County Land Use Code. These changes include a change in the land use definitions for horse businesses, a new scalable system to determine the appropriate review process for businesses of different sizes and intensities, and changes to the improvement standards for these business facilities. The recommendations are still preliminary and public input is needed. Please plan to attend one of these meetings and provide your feedback for consideration.
