County Board Openings

Citizens applying for any of the current openings on several Larimer County Boards and Commissions should be aware the application deadline is Friday, Oct. 9. Applications can be submitted online at www.Larimer.org/boards or pick up an application from the Larimer County office nearest you.

Currently, there are openings on:  

Agricultural Advisory Board
–– advises the County Commissioners and departments on issues that affect production agriculture and agri-business in Larimer County.
Fair –– organizes and coordinates the annual County Fair as well as serving in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners. One of the positions needed on the Fair Board is that of Volunteer Coordinator for the Fair. This person must have the skills necessary to recruit, manage and lead a large group of volunteers.  
Red Feather Lakes Planning Advisory Committee –– advises the planning team, Planning Commission and County Commissioners on Red Feather Lakes area plan topics.
Retirement Board –– this is an internal Larimer County Board with one opening for a citizen with a background in business and an emphasis in investments.
