Tuesday, Sept. 29 A report is due on a harassment call at the Berthoud Living Center. Police gave a verbal warning to individuals involved in a verbal disturbance at a business in the 1000 block of Second Street. Wednesday, Oct. 30 The Berthoud Conoco reported a counterfeit $10 bill. A woman came to the police station and asked for an officer to accompany her to retrieve her wallet. Wednesday, Sept. 30 BFPD assisted with a medical call on the northbound off-ramp at Interstate 25 and Highway 56. The patient was transported; assisted Poudre Fire with a wildland fire threatening structures northwest of Fort Collins. Thursday, Oct. 1 BFPD assisted with a medical call on Second Street. 4-H shooters leave lasting impression

By Michael HicksBerthoud RecorderAll day long Kasye Housman and Travis Lutz were singing the Twisted Sister hit “I Wanna Rock.” The catchy ’80s tune had an impact because, for the life of her, Housman couldn’t miss. The 19-year-old hit 25 straight birdies during the state 4H trap shooting championship on Labor Day weekend at Pikes Peak Gun Club in Colorado Springs. (more…)

Boys soccer coach Barron adds girls job to resume

Berthoud Wrestling Club seeks members

The Berthoud Wrestling Club is seeking prospective members. Interested participants may register during a practice. Practices will begin Oct. 12 at the Berthoud High School wrestling room. Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays for youth ages 4 to 8 at 5:30 p.m. and for youth ages 9-14 at 6:30 p.m. (more…)
