Up In Lights Productions presents “Curtains”
Show business is a dangerous line of work, at least for the characters of “Curtains” in this fresh from Broadway musical. Up In Lights Productions is proud to be bringing the regional premiere of the show to the historic Rialto Theater, Oct. 23-Nov. 1, 2009. Bringing that old-fashioned movie musical feel back to life, this show features one of the last scores by the legendary Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Kander and Ebb (“Chicago,” “Cabaret) and a book by multiple Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes.
Packed with glorious tunes from the legendary team of Kander and Ebb, and a witty, charming script filled with delightful characters, “Curtains” is a hilarious musical comedy whodunit.
The 23-member cast is directed by Britni Girard, with vocal direction by Jalyn Webb and choreography by Britni Girard. A full orchestra is featured in the show, under the direction of Jeremy Girard, costuming by Debbie Russell.
