The 2009 Thompson Robotics Expo will be held at Berthoud High on Saturday Nov. 7, along with one of five Colorado FIRST LEGO League qualifying tournaments.

Organizers are looking for both adult and high school volunteers to help with this exciting event, including 40 judging positions. No experience is necessary; training is provided. They also need several digital videographers to record the event to make a DVD — students or adults are welcome.

Public invited to DAAC meeting
The Thompson School District Accountability Advisory Committee (DAAC), which monitors school effectiveness plans and the District's accountability process, will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Administration Building (Classroom 128), 800 S. Taft Ave., Loveland.
