Flooding closes Larimer Justice Center

Flooding from leaking pipes closed the Larimer County Justice Center, 201 LaPorte Ave., Fort Collins, on Wednesday.
According to Michael Kirk, Larimer County facilities director, a pipe froze and broke a fitting, causing the system to activate and release water on the first floor Wednesday morning.
A service vendor is onsite and cleanup is under way. Officials are targeting a Thursday reopening of the building.
