RESOLUTION NO. 21-09

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS IN EXCESS OF THE 2009 BUDGET

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BERTHOUD, COLORADO, LARIMER AND WELD COUNTIES, COLORADO THAT;

Section 1. During 2009, the Town of Berthoud determined the Park Dedication Fund did not allocate adequate funds to the operating costs.

The Board of Trustees hereby designates $50 of unappropriated revenue be applied to bank fees.

Section 2. During 2009, the Town of Berthoud determined the Master Planning Fund did not allocate adequate funds to the operating costs.

The Board of Trustees hereby designates $10,000 of unappropriated revenue be applied to loan repayment.

Section 3. During 2009, the Town of Berthoud determined the Public Facilities Fund did not allocate adequate funds to the operating costs.

The Board of Trustees hereby designates $50 of unappropriated revenue be applied to bank fees.

Section 4. The Board of Trustees determines and designates that these expenditures could not have been accurately forecast at the time the 2009 budget was drafted and that these expenditures were necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the Berthoud community.

At its meeting on November 17, 2009, a public hearing was set by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Berthoud for its special meeting held on December 8, 2009. After the public hearing, the resolution was passed and ordered published by the Board of Trustees at its meeting this 8th day of December 2009.
