Turner Middle School Girls Basketball Season underway
Turner Middle School Basketball consists of four Teams, a Varsity and JV for the Eighth grade and for the Seventh grade. Forty four girls are signed up to play. Turner Middle School wrestling season begins
The Turner Middle School wrestlers started of their season on Tuesday with a meet with Fort Lupton, Highland and Valley Middle Schools at Valley. The boy’s coach is Alex Bennet, a student at Colorado State University. The managers are Olivia Owen and Miranda Kamakele. Berthoud Town Board special meeting and study session
By Judy Lehn The Town Trustees held a brief special meeting Tuesday so the Trustees could vote on two liquor licenses. The rest of the meeting was a Study Session. Unanimous approval was given to the Berthoud Chamber of Commerce for their annual installation dinner, which will be held January 30 at Brookside Gardens. Local retiree uses retirement funds for Haiti
Johnstown - Ron Mallett of Milliken was watching the news about the Haiti earthquake and was compelled to do something for Haiti. Ron knows Don and Jean Kaye Wilson, co-founders of H.E.L.P. International, and called them asking what was most needed. Don expressed to Ron that water purification devices are the greatest need and what’s most critical at this time.
