The Dragons jumped out to an 8 to 2 lead in the first quarter and held a comfortable lead at the half. The Walt Clark girls were not to be denied and came out running in the third period and took a 17 to 16 lead at the end of the third. The lead held until Sara Parker’s free throw put the Turner girls ahead 19 to 17 with 5:14 remaining in the game. The Dragons found their game again in the final five minutes and scored 5 more points to Walt Clark’s 2, winning by a 5 point margin, 24-19.
