Joel Maly led the Spartan attack with 26 points and 16 rebounds. Mark Mathiesen was 4 for 4 from outside the circle and contributed 14 points. Zach Ruebesam made his 6 points with a three-pointer and three free throws. Greg Hutchins added 4 points and Jeff Carlson 3 as the Spartans defeat the Falcons 53 to 34. The teams went to the locker room at half time with the score tied 16 all, but the Berthoud squad out scored Skyline 2 to 1 in the second half making the final score look lopsided.
The next game is against a tough Greeley West team which has an 8-4-0 record.
