Of course Berthoud was expected to win this game. The poor Lady Mustangs haven’t won a game since they defeated Frederick on Dec. 11. Their record now stands at 1-14-0 and Berthoud is now 10-5-0. Those girls will probably be glad when the season is over. The stats show that it was all over in the first half with Berthoud leading 26 to 4. The game was close in the first quarter. Berthoud Boys 65—Fort Morgan 44

The Spartans and the Fort Morgan Mustangs have similar records this year but you would not have know that from the first half of tonight’s game. The Spartans did not give the few Mustang fans that made the trip much to cheer about. Berthoud took the ball from the tip and Greg Hutchins made the first basket and Fort Morgan quickly evened the score.
