Douglas Nichols, Ph.D., 1942-2010
February 19, 1942 – January 21, 2010 Doug Nichols, Ph. D., paleontologist and Berthoud resident, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 21, 2010, at the age of 67. Born in Jamaica, Long Island, N.Y., he was the son of Kenneth C. and Beatrice O. Nichols. Doug lived in Long Island, N.Y. and New Jersey while growing up. League of Women Voters to Discuss Sustainability
The League of Women Voters of Larimer County will hold a meeting to share ideas on sustainability on Feb. 8, at 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and at 7 - 9 p.m. The meetings will be held at the Foothills Unitarian Church located at 1815 Yorktown Ave. in Fort Collins, just off Drake Road.
