Lady Spartans route Fort Morgan 54 — 18

Lady Spartans route Fort Morgan 54 — 18

Of course Berthoud was expected to win this game. The poor Lady Mustangs haven’t won a game since they defeated Frederick on Dec. 11. Their record now stands at 1-14-0 and Berthoud is now 10-5-0. Those girls will probably be glad when the season is over. The stats show that it was all over in the first half with Berthoud leading 26 to 4. The game was close in the first quarter. Low scoring, but close. After that the Mustangs were done for as Berthoud scored more points in the second quarter ... Full Story

Maly put the Spartans ahead again and the Mustangs came back to tie 4-4, but that was all the scoring they would do for a while. The Berthoud ... Full Story

Earthsky Tonight – January 26, 2010

Courtesy of EarthSky A Clear Voice for Science www.EarthSky.org As seen from Earth, the planet Mercury – the solar system’s innermost planet – appears to be closely tethered to the sun. But tomorrow morning, Mercury will swing to the end of its tether – the outermost point of its orbit. Astronomers call this event Mercury’s greatest western elongation.
