Berthoud Wrestling Club brings home 10 trophies
Sixteen wrestlers from the Berthoud Wrestling Club made their way to Greeley on Saturday to compete in the Metro Jr. Wrestling League Championship. The event, held at the Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion on the UNC campus drew wrestlers from all over Northern Colorado and southern Wyoming. The league has 34 participating clubs and over 1,500 wrestlers age 4 to 14. The Berthoud Wrestling Club has been operating for more than a decade and has nearly 50 boys involved in the sport. The ... The Berthoud Rest Stop
These Canada Geese made a rest stop at the Wagner Farm Park on Monday morning. Berthoud lies along the Central Flyway, a migratory route for the geese. This flock consists of early migrators flying north following the melting snowline. Their destination is the nesting grounds in Canada. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity for January 2010 Friday, Jan. 1, 2010 BFPD responded to a propane leak in a structure on So. County Road 31. The resident owner was not on scene. The fire crew searched the property and determined there were no hazards present.
