Berthoud, CO – Don Downey, owner of Dean’s Furniture, has published “Recruiting for the Lord.” This how-to on Christian evangelism contains personal details of Don’s development as a witness, including his miraculous escape from harm during the attack of a violent mob on the American Embassy, Damascus Syria in 1998.
“Recruiting For The Lord” is primarily a book about being a witness for Christ Jesus, being a soul winner for the Lord, and building up His spiritual militia. Don mingles the selling skills, training and experiences that he learned and developed as a successful United States Marine Corps recruiter with the witnessing, training and experiences he has developed as one of Jesus’ evangelists and evangelist trainers. Don takes liberty to intertwine recruiting and witnessing as being of an equal strive to bring the outsider to faith in Jesus.
Don continues to work most Saturdays at Dean’s Furniture, you can stop by, and get your books personally signed. You may order your book from xulonpress.com/bookstore, amazon.com, or barnsandnoble.com.
