The Thompson Board of Education began the meeting listening to a presentation by the members of the Coyote Ridge Elementary School Lego robotics team. These elementary students lost one of there fellow students in 2008 when a driver talking on her cell phone struck and killed Erica Forney as she was riding her bicycle home from school. Berthoud Boys Basketball win in overtime at Niwot

The Spartans found themselves in overtime again for the second time in three games and the final score was almost identical to the Sterling score. Berthoud should have had an easier time of it with the 7 - 10 Cougars. High scorers in the game were Shane Hart -23, Zach Ruebesam - 15 and Joel Maly with 14. Hart also led in rebounds with 7. Obituary Michael S. Patterson

Michael S. Patterson, 60, of Berthoud, Colorado died January 28, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital. He was born April 14, 1949 in Sheridan, Wyo. to Edward and Virginia (Wood) Patterson. Michael married Rena’ Laubach on September 15, 1972 in Wolf Point, Mont. They moved to Berthoud in 1974. Michael was a superintendent for Swinerton Builders of Denver.
