Lovin Oven LLC Recalls Granola Bars

DENVER- Lovin Oven LLC of Irwindale, Calif., is voluntarily recalling Health Valley Organic Peanut Crunch, Dutch Apple, and Wildberry Chewy granola bars because of possible Salmonella contamination.
Recalled products were distributed widely throughout Colorado to retail grocers and other retail outlets. Consumers who purchased any recalled products are urged to return them to the store of purchase for a full refund. No illnesses have been reported, nor is there a recall of any other types of Health Valley brand bars, other than those listed below.

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, particularly in young children, frail or elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Individuals who are experiencing symptoms are advised to contact their health care provider.
