Mario the Peddler scheduled for February 27, 2010
Author, speaker, and entertainer Tony Bottagaro, a native of New York City and long-time resident of Colorado, will be performing his one-man show Mario the Peddler on February 27 in Mead. He has presented his message of love, peace, and justice to religious and political leaders around the world, including the U.S. Congress, the State Department, the White House, the UN, and Pope John Paul II at the Vatican.
The show is based on the main character from Tony’s bestselling novel, The Poet, The Count, and the Peddler. The performance features Bottagaro as Mario Ferrara, an old Sicilian American immigrant who captivates audiences with bits of wisdom, witty anecdotes, and thought-provoking commentary. As Mario, Bottagaro takes them on a fanciful and intriguing journey sprinkled with history and folklore.
