Drawing a line through the two outer stars of the bowl faithfully points to Polaris, the North Star. Polaris is not the brightest star in the sky, as is commonly believed. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Reports- February, 2010 Updated March 2 Monday, Feb. 1 BFPD assisted with a medical call on Megan Way. The patient was transported. BFPD assisted with a medical call for injury from an assault at Berthoud High School. BFPD dive rescue team responded to a call for two dogs found in the lake near the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. A responsible party rescued one dog before the dive team’s arrival.
