Area Road Closures
NORTHBOUND I-25 OFF-RAMP AT CROSSROADS BOULEVARD TO CLOSE NEXT WEEK FOR CONSTRUCTION
LOVELAND— Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 8, weather permitting, the ramp from northbound I-25 to Crossroads Boulevard will be completely closed as part of the ongoing construction project at this interchange. Crews will be realigning traffic onto the newly constructed off-ramp, which will eventually tie into the new roundabouts being constructed on Crossroads Boulevard.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured to US 34. Once on US 34, motorists will go east to Centerra Parkway and then go north to Crossroads Boulevard. Detour signs will be posted.
The ramp work is part of an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project that constructs roundabouts at the I-25 interchange to help improve mobility and safety. The Recovery Act is funding $3 million of the $6.4 million project and the City of Loveland and the Centerra Metropolitan District is funding the rest of the project.
Jalisco International, Inc. is the contractor for this project which is scheduled to be complete in August 2010.
Larimer County, Colorado – Beginning the week of February 22, 2010, South Saint Louis Avenue will be closed between 8th Street SE & 4th St. SE for the replacement of the bridge over the Farmer’s Ditch. The closure is expected to last until early April. These roads are just south of the City of Loveland, Colorado.
The existing bridge is very narrow and does not meet current road, bridge, and traffic standards. Larimer County Engineering Department designed the replacement bridge and is managing the project. Mountain Constructors, Inc. of Platteville has been awarded this contract.
A pre-construction open house has been scheduled for Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Pulliam Building, 1st floor dining room, 545 North Cleveland Ave, Loveland. For further information please contact Joe Temple at Larimer County Engineering at (970) 498-5717, email@example.com .
