Obituary: Theodore “Ted” Wacker

Theodore “Ted” Wacker, 86, of Loveland, Colo., passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Ted was born in Berthoud, Colo., on July 23, 1923, to John and Anna Margaret (Schaefer) Wacker. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland. Ted attended schools in the Berthoud area and farmed with his family until enlisting in the Army. Greeley, Colo. (April 9, 2010) – The Main OHV area on the Pawnee National Grassland (PNG) has closed for the season; however, the Crow Valley Campground is now open. The Main OHV area is closed seasonally from April 9 through November 1 to help minimize disturbance to wildlife and cattle, while also reducing soil erosion.
