Beginning June 7 the new FLEX bus service will link Berthoud with Fort Collins, Loveland and the Longmont Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) bus connections to downtown Denver and Boulder. During weekday peak commuting hours in the morning and evening, an express route will serve primary stops between Fort Collins and Longmont, including a stop in Berthoud. Don L. Ganter, Sr. July 28, 1923 – May 25, 2010 Don L. Ganter, Sr. of Berthoud, passed away May 25, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital.  He was 86. Don was born on July 28, 1923 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Lawrence and Alice (Verdow) Ganter. Don served in the US Army during WWII from 1942 to 1945 with the 728 Bombardment Squadron of the 482 Bombardment Group.
