Don L. Ganter, Sr. July 28, 1923 – May 25, 2010 Don L. Ganter, Sr. of Berthoud, passed away May 25, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 86. Don was born on July 28, 1923 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Lawrence and Alice (Verdow) Ganter. Don served in the US Army during WWII from 1942 to 1945 with the 728 Bombardment Squadron of the 482 Bombardment Group. On June 26, 1943 he married Jo Huber in Fort Collins, Colorado.
