With water storage at record levels and a high spring runoff, even Foster and Coleman Reservoirs west of Berthoud have abundant water for the first time in years. These iternerant pelicans took advantage of that and stopped for a little fishing at Foster last Wednesday.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Confirmatory tests show four cows in a Colorado dairy herd have tested positive for bovine tuberculosis (TB). The ongoing investigation by the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture began in March 2010 when internal lesions were discovered on a Southern Colorado cow at a slaughter facility. I figured that God would let me know when it was time to quit. Now is the time,” Sommers said. Her tenure of 45 years has allowed Sommers to see church history in the making.
