First Colorado case of West Nile confirmed

DENVER – The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has received its first confirmed case of West Nile virus in 2010. Heading into the holiday weekend, health department officials advise people to take precautions against West Nile virus by wearing insect repellent and using other methods to avoid mosquito bites when outdoors. The Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775 was an important mile stone in the American Revolution, yet many people do not know what happened that day or the role it played in the revolution.
