Fema Authorizes Funds To Help Fight Four Mile Canyon Fire

Denver, Colo. -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the Four Mile Canyon Fire in Boulder County. The fire is burning on state and private land in the Gold Hill area. FEMA approved Colorado's request for a federal Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) at 4:20 p.m. MDT. Notice that a line from the two outermost stars in the bowl of the Big Dipper point to Polaris, the North Star. Also notice that Polaris marks the tip of the handle of the Little Dipper.
