Berthoud defeats Frederick 28-6 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud Spartans football team notched their first victory of the season on Friday night thanks to a 21 point fourth quarter. Playing at Alex Tesone Field in Frederick, Berthoud turned in what was easily their best performance of the young season, with both sides of the ball contributing to the win.
