For the first year, the fall of 2010, limited big game hunting will occur at Larimer County’s Red Mountain Open Space. Hunting will be allowed by special access permit during the second and third combined rifle seasons (October 23 – 31, second combined season; November 6 – 14, third combined season).

Limited hunting access is provided through a partnership with the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources and Colorado Division of Wildlife. Special access hunting permits are distributed through a Larimer County Department of Natural Resources’ application drawing in February of each year.
