The 3A Region #4 Cross Country Meet was held on Thursday, Oct. 21 at Lyons High School. Spartans Drop State Title Game to Finish Second By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud Spartans softball team capped off a stellar season with a second-place finish in the 3A state tournament held on Friday and Saturday at the Aurora Sports Complex.
