Kathy Adams body found, ruled homicide

^[1]The Larimer County Coroner has released the identification of the decedent found near Estes Park on October 23, 2010 as that of Kathy Adams, age 57, who was reported missing on October 12, 2010. The Coroner has ruled her death to be homicide.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation into this incident. At this time no further statement is being issued.

As stated previously, On October 25, 2010 the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received notification that the body recovered on October 23, 2010 had been positively identified by the Larimer County Coroner’s Office as Kathy Adams a 57 year old female who was initially reported missing on October 12, 2010. As stated in the press release from the Coroner’s Office, her death has been ruled a homicide and the investigation is continuing.

Investigators have not been able to locate John Marks Jr. who was residing with Ms. Adams. Investigators are interested in speaking to Mr. Marks as well as anyone else who has information regarding this incident. Please contact the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 970-416-1985.

Further Major Justin Smith will deliver a brief statement at 6:00 PM this evening at the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 2501 Midpoint Drive about the status of this case.
